Positive Comments: This is an old fashioned little love song that could fit in the 40’s as a ukulele tune or a 80’s country song ala Charlie Pride. The hook is certainly memorable and the singer is sincere, for sure.
Constructive Comments: The lyrics don’t help the hook at all. Can’t tell if the person is there or gone….”I must say I missed you” “happy when you hold me” “I never felt so understood”……hard to tell if it’s now or then…little imagery outside of sparkling blue eyes.
