Song: lady sings the blues

Reviewer: Ober Rivers And His DUI’S

Positive Comments: Very well done late night blues with a large dose of jazz influence and a little R&B. Very well performed and arranged on all counts, maybe something like Natalie Cole, it’s an authentic sound with a modern touch, very nice.

Constructive Comments: I like this a lot, mostly because the quality of vocal performance and accompaniment so high. I’m not in love with the lyrics, not that they are bad, just that the obvious reference to Billy Holliday sets an insurmountably high comparison to the Lady herself, and is just a bit to obvious to make a great lyric … IMO … I expect you could convey the same emotion without using that phrase.

Positive Comments: Nice dance music with a peppy introduction. It’s very memorable and would make a good jingle for an advertising. It’s also great for looping, since it’s very repetitive. I could imagine this in a computer game as background sound. Maybe tap into this market?

Constructive Comments: This is great for looping or as background for an anime or computer game. As stand-alone song, it could use some kind of striking hook or a bridge to a new theme, but that probably wasn’t intended. People will remember this melody long after having heard it, which is a big plus.

Reviewer: Christina Linda Lyons

Positive Comments: I bet that’s from Mrs. Kate!! Very nice Christian children’s song. I think this has market potential for Christina children’s camps, Sunday schools, or just in Christian homes. This song gives hope at least someone is keeping his promises )

Constructive Comments: The only thing I noticed is that the kids weren’t perfectly together at times (might be my computer playback, though).

Positive Comments: I ain’t gonna lie it’s a cool track. It’s different and that’s why I kept listening. It’s not normally what I chose to listen to but I can dig it.

Constructive Comments: My main problem is I don’t think the vocals are pitched right. There is a tremble in your voice like you are nervous about doing the song or being in the studio. Keep working on your craft and think about getting a vocal coach to help.
