Positive Comments: There is a very nice, bluesy feel to this song. It is very well performed and the vocal is very expressive and spot on. The dynamics throughout are interesting and take this to a high level. The recording and arrangement work well and make this a very good production.

Constructive Comments: I loved the dynamic drop for the guitar solo but would have liked to have heard that solo go on a little longer. It fit beautifully and I would have liked to hear it build up to a another drop for the verse.

Constructive Comments: I think you really could improve this song with a few changes. It is a little long. I think a good rock producer could improve the arrangement with just some minor adjustments.

Positive Comments: This has a nice soulful feel reminiscent of 60’s and 70’s R&B tunes, carried well by the guitar tones and performance. The vocal is sweet and the back-up vocals and harmonies add interest. The arrangement works well and the recording is well done.

Constructive Comments: I think the slight bit of keyboard added at the beginning of the chorus breaks the established feel of the performance. Even though it is not prominent and is very sparse, it doesn’t seem to fit and it takes away much more than it adds.

Positive Comments: The recording is produced very well and it has a good feel all around. The vocals are performed well and the instrumentation fits the tune.

Constructive Comments: I feel the lyrics are somewhat repetitive. Maybe adding a bridge could provide a change allowing lyrics to break that repetition and add more interest. There also seems to be a lack of a strong hook to grab the listener.

Constructive Comments: I would suggest not going high on the “on my window tonight”. I think it is too early in the song for it because there are so many good things coming later (example “black and blue” it works there). Just my suggestion.

Constructive Comments: I didn’t understand the lyrics in the bridge. Tonto’s wild ride and overdrive? I ride horses but I don’t think if it as overdrive… that’s more of a driving thing in my mind. The Tonto reference seems to come out of nowhere.
