Positive Comments: Excellent work. Nice use of subtle explosion or percussion effects with string arrangement.

Constructive Comments: I enjoyed the piece very much, although the string patches sounded very dry and uninspired. This had nothing to do with the parts being played. Overall, it is great work, but I would consider remixing with a better string library.

Song: Anne

Reviewer: Bob Bentley

Positive Comments: The song would fill many a country dance floor with couples wanting to get slow and close. It sounds comfortably familiar with a strong melody and good chorus. A clever key change helps to give it some individuality. Good production and performance across the board with tight harmonies and plenty of feeling in the main vocal.

Constructive Comments: There’s not much more that could be done. It is extremely difficult to be original with slow country ballads and I believe you’ve done a very good job of just that.I like it a lot, very good luck with it.

Positive Comments: Very bluesey from the get go. Then the vocals take it to an alternative vibe. I dig the wawa-ey sounding guitar. The instrumentation is pretty good. The tone and vocal delivery are the best part of the piece. I like the harmony at :50 ish.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics seem like they could be more fleshed out. I would give better p0itns for more lyrics (my own are often sparse as well). The tune has a fun repetitive vibe, and could go in a film score or tv. A little over done theme – but ok that’s ok – another take on something is always good.

Louisiana Nights by Margie & Art Corey, S. & A. Corey

Song: Louisiana Nights

Reviewer: Charles ‘KIZZO’ Kizzee

Positive Comments: The song is catchy and the lyrics sticks in your head. I can image a long ride in the country with this song blasting. It’s a really good two step dance song. I would add this to a party playlist and listen to it often. I believe this song would do well in the Country music market.

Constructive Comments: To make it sound a little more Cajun than Country, I blast an accordion over all of it. Or you might want to simply bring the levels of the instruments up a little to add quality to the mix. The song is good as it is, and as mentioned I would certainly add it to my playlist.

Positive Comments: Nice tune. The song has potential.

Constructive Comments: There are a few places where the lead guitar pitches a little flat. I would work on the lead guitar to get it a little smoother and possible a different effect with more delay and or reverb. There is a wonky keyboard note at about the minute mark and also later in the song. Little things like that stand out and take away from the song.

Positive Comments: Had me for quite a while…If there was a day…a place…a love…hooked me right in for a song without a chorus per say…song moves right along and I was engaged trying to figure out what the story was all about…that’s one way to hook someone in…

Constructive Comments: Eleven to one?…Wuht?…quite frankly…I was disappointed…what does that mean? Store hours?Odds on me liking the ending of this song….maybe that’s it…okay…I’ll go with that…nice..

Positive Comments: Call me crazy but it all almost made sense to me…”Chemical Wedding”….”Chimpanzee impression”…haven’t heard lyrics like this since “I wish I was a kellogg cornflake”…of course, I always hated such pretentious lyrics…but as I get older…the more abstract…the more I understand…Nice little hook and idea…

Constructive Comments: Too much strumming overall…especially at the end…I think I would have just ended with “she ain’t gonna get it.”…STRUM….That’s the hook….kinda was wiped from my memory by the time you finished all that strumming….good work and very refreshing to hear. Thanks
