Positive Comments: I like the overall vibe of the song, and the arrangement is pretty well planned and thought out. I like the drums and bass, although the bass could be a little less prominent when there’s less going on.

Constructive Comments: For me, it seems like the rhythm could be a little tighter. For this type of electronic smooth jazz, it needs to be airtight. I think the loose feel of the drums contributes, as well as the balance issues with the bass.

Positive Comments: This is a unique-sounding song that has some interesting vocals and started off with an appropriate sparse instrumentation.

Constructive Comments: There’s a few things that could make this song stronger in my opinion. There needs to be a more compelling B section, and the instrument sounds really need to be upgraded all around. The opening sounds were ok, but when the sax sound came in, it was very jarring because it so harsh.I like the main melody and the feel, but it needs to be fleshed out more in my opinion.

Positive Comments: I wasnt particularily fond of the synth pads that were used and would have potentially liked a change up to something a little less organ sounding. The beat of this song is catchy. The breakdowns carry energy well in the right places, however the song does have a bit of a dated feel to it that I think hurt its appeal to a larger group of listeners who may otherwise be interested in the song.

Constructive Comments: Modernize the harmony notes and other lead instrumentals. The cymbals were refreshing and I liked the ride taps halfway through. Perhaps a different type of key that sounds less like an organ and more like todays electronic genre would demand. There could also stand to be some more dramatic effects added in to give the song a less cookie cutter feel. Overall a solid piece of work but a little out of my taste.

Positive Comments: Good vocals, both lead and harmony. I liked the lyrics and the hook, reaching out to the Lord for help and asking Him to reach out and take it. They clearly speak to the need we all have for help and forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. Nice mix with clearly defined and balanced instrumental accompaniment. Great job. Keep up the good work.

Constructive Comments: Very well produced. Both the vocals and the various instruments in the backup band clearly inhabit their own spaces, but blend well and don’t get lost in the mix.

Positive Comments: The singer has a very strong voice. Lovely BV’s/harmonies in there. I like the interaction of the electric piano and bass guitar. Nicely recorded..excellent sound quality. Melodically strong. A really engaging chorus. Shades of the group Foreigner.

Constructive Comments: I like the song very much, however you could take it from the ‘very good’ to the ‘excellent’ if you added guitars, say after the first verse, and as the track progresses more aggressive drum fills to really define the different sections of the song and cut through the melody to take the song to an ecstatic level in the way that great power ballads do.

Positive Comments: There wasn’t much not to like about this song. Lyrics were good, great guitar work, catchy melody and well balanced mix. The female background singer has a great bluesy voice while the lead vocalist has more of a baritone country sound. Good blend of country and blues genres. Keep up the good work!

Constructive Comments: As noted above, I liked everything about the song. Not much needs to be changed to improve it in my opinion.

Positive Comments: Overall, it is a good song that needs a little tweaking.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics were a little hard to understand as the rhythm guitar tended to drown out the vocals. I feel that the song could be improved by bringing up the bass a little, as well as the guitar solos, which sounded really good, but did not stand out from the rhythm guitar.
