Positive Comments: Sounds like Bowie and Iggy Pop sitting in with Motley Crue. Raucous and raunchy. It has elements of Punk, Hard Rock and Glam Rock with a really jaded attitude (so throw Low Reed in too). Great groove with drums, tambourine and drums. Really great drums and sound. Raunchy wailing guitar chirps all through. This is classic work!!

Constructive Comments: I think the vocals are too far up front, and maybe too much doubling? The vocal sound is also a bit too dry with a room bounce.

Positive Comments: I love it when a song I’m reviewing just shouts playing & writing talent put to a really creative and original passion! This is really cool. The chorus sounds a lot like Jane’s Addiction, and the verses are pure Bowie. I like the way the chorus melody echoes the guitar (or vice versa). The driven but not too dirty guitar tone is superb. Very solid drum & bass tracks that sound great in the mix. I wish I could read the lyrics but I sense an ironic treatment of US foreign interventions that I agree with. Excellent work!

Positive Comments: Well I’ve heard this tune a lot lately so not a blind review, but clearly it kicks ass. This is intelligent and sophisticated writing with a cerebral edge but it’s also really heavy in an intricately arranged way. There are some very intense sections and lots of interesting nooks and crannies and layers of the arrangement. At 2:02 it just breaks bad. This is music that deserves a record buying following!
