Positive Comments: Interesting synth-supported track. Kind of a lo-fi jazzy slow track. I like the sax. The lyricist had a unique thing going with the word “despise” and all that he rhymed with it.
Constructive Comments: I wish I could understand what you are singing about. The vocal comes in right off the bat without an intro to get us ready for it….then when the music gets loud, the vocal is lost in the mix. In order to understand this song, I am going to have to READ the lyrics. The track contains some “dead spots” where there is too much waiting for the next thing to happen. I don’t see a conclusion or wrap-up for the song. I am not a jazz aficionado, so take my comments with a grain of salt…but in my folksinger opinion…it’s a song that still needs work.
