Positive Comments: Strong chorus, melodically. The feel is a real nice mixture of rock, pop, country. So the song could find fans in different places. I personally envy the lead singer, as someone with a poor voice! Really strong vocals, and the band or musicians overall do a fine job to keep the somewhat simple music interesting.
Constructive Comments: I couldn’t really get a grasp on the lyric. Kinda felt like the chorus lyric was just a strong of rhymes, sun/run/gun, but somehow I never quite figured out what the point was. Probably fault of my dull mind! I do like the chorus, but overall, I wish there were a couple more chords in the song, something to add some spice to some kind of vanilla harmony.
