Positive Comments: There’s a lot of good things in this song. Her voice is good and has a contemporary country sound. Instrumentation is solid and the mix is fine. It has a good groove too.
Constructive Comments: Here’s what bothers me… the story does not fit the music. If you are dancing (on a memory) and singing (to a melody) it sure makes me think happy thoughts. But this is not a happy song. It is a very sad song – especially if you are going to say how he died (cancer). Maybe you were going for a wistful, melancholy vibe of remembering the good times. It didn’t quite make it there for me. Lot’s of potential here. Keep at it!
