Positive Comments: We done. Playing is good.Has potential for sure

Constructive Comments: I find the instrumentation clashing with the genre in spots. It gets a bit complex for the country sound it’s trying to achieve. It also gets a bit busy in spots. I think an alternate mix with more room where the instruments aren’t so busy would give this song more space to relax. I am not great with chords but I think another alt mix with a straighter chord chord progression would sound more in the pocket for country. The great thing is the more mixes and version you have the more opportunities the song has. It’s got endless possibilities. I would say 3.5 out of 5 but the rating doesn’t allow that. Not a ot of work to push that number higher.

Positive Comments: This song has been professionally done and it shows! For others who are trying to get into this game, this is what you have to compete with. Polished in every aspect. Vocals, track, lyrics and mix and mastering. It probably cost a lot to produce but you get what you pay for. This is radio quality. Excellent work all.

Constructive Comments: Alt mixes would be a good idea. An all male vocal and an all female vocal version to start. An acoustic more bluegrass sounding mix would be good too. I would like to hear a striped down piano version too. So much potential. Congratulations on a great song.

Positive Comments: I love a good honest song, and this artist wears her heart on her sleeve. She admits that relationships are hard…Hard to trust, hard to be true, hard to be me. And then to deal with the fact that “everybody wants someone else.” She expresses this frustration beautifully. “I’ve been fooled before I won’t be fooled anymore.” Love that lyric. Full band sound, great background vocals, killer horn solo. I don’t see any reason why this song shouldn’t enjoy some commercial success.

Positive Comments: There’s nothing more fun to listen to than a tight and cheerful bluegrass band, and this one does NOT disappoint! Toe-tapping fun instrumental that stands alone without lyrics. Super-entertaining. One fiddle was great and when the second ones chimes in….double the fun for the ears! The band was well-practiced, super tight on timing. Bass and percussion just perfect. Love the mandolin, too! This song reminded me of The Orange Blossom Special in some ways. Great back and forth play between the instruments.

Constructive Comments: The only thing I would change would be to resolve the last note. Otherwise perfect!

Positive Comments: Here’s a great ballad/story song that has a definite beginning and a sad end. Crystal clear vocals showcase lyrics that could stand alone as a poem, but the artist puts them to music beautifully. This song almost has jazz undertones. Great lyric writing original rhymes. Love the guitar solo instrumental. The ending of the song leaves the listener hoping for a sequel. Favorite lyric: Collar up to the morning cold. I’m seeing a cowboy…

Constructive Comments: Lovely as this song is…it lacks a chorus, which might limit its marketability (but who cares?) Kalispell is spelled with a K by the way.

Positive Comments: This song has a fun, funky (almost Cajun) sound. The guitar riffs are memorable and fun I like the way the band put this together and the drums add to the amusement. Seems like there are some nice word pictures in the lyrics. Very organic recording.

Constructive Comments: I don’t mean to be critical, but the vocals need work. They’re kind of muddy. Work on clarity…I really wanted to understand all the words. It sounds like such a fun song. Please post the lyrics.
