Constructive Comments: Stretch it out to about 2 minutes just to give music supervisors a bit more to choose from and maybe try adding a chello part 3/4 of the way through.Would be lovely

Positive Comments: If you enjoy kicking back and closing your eyes and drifting for the afternoon, this is just the song. The tune, orchestration, and arrangement are very pleasant, and easy. The female vocals are soft, sensual, and relaxed she puts across the mood beautifully. 2/3rds of the way through is a nice variation. Lyrically simple, it could fit in just about any scene. From what I’ve read, a lot of media opportunities look for something like that.

Constructive Comments: The only things I can think of which may just be my own preferences is to take the volume of the percussion down a little, and to extend the ending just a little by several seconds, perhaps repeating the notes that are used at the very beginning of the song and fading them out.

Positive Comments: What a beautiful, melancholic, and pensive melody! With it’s lovely airy instrumentation and arrangement and it’s message, this sounds like a lovely nod to Phil Collins’ “Another Day in Paradise,” but make no mistake, this tune and its words are unique and original. There’s a lot of room for thoughtful, socially conscious, sensitive, great songs like these.

Positive Comments: What is really terrific about this is the nod to Autechre and Aphex Twin whether the artist knows it or not. It is sonic crazy fun with a consistent melody that is easy to remember. Almost any kind of words would fit in this tune as the instrumental sounds are the selling point to this grooving techno trip, and who wouldn’t enjoy that?

Constructive Comments: May not be the lyrics I’d write but that’s too slight to affect the score. You have great effects going all the way through and I love that kind of experimentation with electronica.

With excellent instrumentation and an an arrangement like this, you really want to tailor the lyrics to really fit the mood and that takes rewriting and time. I’m interested in hearing the melody line you’ve come up for this. So far this is looming, intense, and engaging with the musical emotion you’ve created.

Positive Comments: I stepped into this like quicksand (and you know how hard it is to pull out) with the beautiful wistful melody and the delays on the guitar strums that David Gates or Gordon Lightfoot would have arranged. The lovely melody sells this song and that’s a huge asset to any songwriter. The lyrics have some different twists that are interesting, witty, charming, and refreshing to hear rather than the usual cliches. Vocal harmonies are in just the right places and the instrumentation smooth as sunlight on a field. If you can’t get lost in this song, then you just can’t be moved by a beautiful tune.

Constructive Comments: Sometimes the best constructive comment is to realize there’s nothing more you need to do to it. This is a very beautifully arranged song.John
