Positive Comments: Nice sound, has a real Zero 7 vibe

Constructive Comments: Nice vocal but some of the distorted lead bass is a little loud in the mix and needs bringing down as its drowning the rest of the track, especially at the end, you will see this just looking at the waveform.

Positive Comments: Well recorded

Constructive Comments: Felt it had far to many different styles so lost direction for me. Started like an Orbital track and then there was electric rock guitar and then jazz guitar. Unique but not sure it has market potential. Recording wad good though.

Positive Comments: Very 80’s sounding pop (which is not a bad thing) Like the slightly comical lyrics.

Constructive Comments: Vocal is a little nasally and a bit deadpan, and I would try to make the chord change between the verse and chorus more obvious, maybe adding some brass hits and strings (or synth stabs etc) so it feels like it elevates rather than staying on the same level.

Positive Comments: Piano riff is nice and could be expanded more

Constructive Comments: The gated Synth does not really fit and is a little over powering. To me it felt like lots of different genres of loops put together, also it does not move out of the same key for the whole track so get very repetitive.

Positive Comments: Nice sound and would work well in film / tv. this came up under Electronic music which I do not think is the right genre for it

Constructive Comments: Maybe a little more variety in the melody etc as it feels like an except from a larger piece.

Positive Comments: Recording is clean

Constructive Comments: The problem with this track is it stays on the same chord structure so gets very repetitive very quickly with very little variety to the melodies, Also the Sitar sound really does not fit with the track and class very strongly and almost sounds out of tune.

Song: Break Free

Reviewer: Bill Dake

Positive Comments: Nice little folk tune with a positive message. Good recording, well balanced.

Constructive Comments: You might want to flesh out the lyrics, they’re pretty sparse on content. Most folk tunes tell a story. What are you soon to be free of? What will you do when you are free? This is a good start, just think it needs to be expanded upon.
