Positive Comments: This is a really cool and unique love song. One of the reasons I like it is the approach to the guitar…kind of a melding of rock and Spanish guitar. Add in these driving punchy accent beats that are expertly placed and you have a highly original song. I like the lyrics, too. The emphasis on the relationship isn’t just sex…it’s more of an understanding and accepting of each other. Great word picture: cabin with the fire on. You all did a fantastic job on this track. Really tight and expert production!

Constructive Comments: The song quit playing at 3:17. I think it’s a BJ problem. Will report. The only rhyme I had a problem with was be long and belong.

Positive Comments: Ooooo, great mood with the beautiful haunting, electronic, smooth instrumentation I love. The melody line is memorable, flows easily and pulses simultaneously. Vocals are airy and seductive…just right for the song. Keyboard accents are a great touch. This song moves with smooth energy… just the kind that can be played again and again without losing interest.

Constructive Comments: How would it sound if the vocals were brought out just a tad more with just a touch more on the limiter after :25? Not sure…just an idea. An envelope could be applied just before then as the start is just right. Lyrically gets really good with visuals like walking in the rain and sitting by the fire…adds something different in the imagination! The ideas of taking passion beyond are very good. The spotlight in this song is the great mood that you’ve set with the vocals and instrumentation.John
