Constructive Comments: Drums are too loud and if there’s bass, it’s virtually inaudible. I think more structure to the lyrics instead of phrase-after-phrase would help round this out.

Positive Comments: I absolutely LOVE this song! It enchanted me from the intro on. Flawless vocal. Poetic lyrics blended with a beautiful morning melody that just totally suits the whole production. Instrumentation was perfect! Word pictures extremely effective and easy to visualize. Not just for children! This song is equally effective for adults. Bravisimo! My favorite lyric: Gently the path winds down the hillThe mountains come into viewMy breath leaves a cloud in the morning chillRising up to a royal blueThat is GREAT lyric writing!

Constructive Comments: The only thing I would do with this song is work on a more dramatic and conclusive ending instrumentally and maybe vocally. I want to see that sunrise bursting over the mountain in the ending.

Constructive Comments: Maybe change it up a bit…key change and more bridge, or Dm9 to G7 and then back to the Em7 to A7 vamp. There’s so much stuff out there that just use a 2 chord vamp for the majority of the tune. Nothin’ wrong with that, but might make it hard to get any traction with this tune vs. all the others. There’s some good playing here, just think it could be even better with some minor changes.
