Positive Comments: This song totally engaged me from the first moment to the last. Driving down Mercy Road is a great double play on words. It could be the name of the road, the name of the woman he loves, or what he hopes to find at the end of his journey in the heart of the woman he loves. Beautifully written and performed, this song tells a believable story with a flawed character hero (the broken wing…I can sing/ word picture is original, creative and effective). The lyrics are perfectly crafted I cannot think of a single word I would change. The writer knows how to economize on his words. Say something great with a few choice words that are easy to understand and communicate the heart of the story. The bridge is also expertly written. I love the mandolin and guitar. This song is just 10 stars all around, and if you were playing at a local festival, I’d definitely come to hear you perform.

Constructive Comments: I wish you every success with this song. It’s just plain beautiful!

Positive Comments: This song packs a punch from the powerful “in your face” introduction and kicks back at just the right moments. It’s a spiritual searching song that really cries out for truth. I love the Oh – Oh – Oh sections and can just see people singing along while they dance. The female echo is also a “wow” addition to the song. Loved the ending but was sad it was all over! Sign of a great song! Instrumentation is a real powerful combo of great players/sounds. Fantastic mix and production.

Constructive Comments: I hope this song is successful. Please post the lyrics!

Song: COME HOME

Positive Comments: From the intro to the outro, this song really shines as one that has had a lot of effort put into it. The song tells a good (though sad) story and the vocals are right on target, passionately sung and expertly mixed. Instrumentation suits the song beautifully. Great use of word pictures (dress, bottle of wine, roses, etc.) Excellent production values. Totally a winner (except he lost the gal).

Constructive Comments: Song could be a little shorter for commercial purposes. There is nothing wrong with the song, but analyzer female that I am…really the song seems to be me-ism… all from the guy’s point of view. Why did she leave? Was the relationship all about HIM and maybe that’s why it failed? Enough analyzing. I ain’t no psychologist.
