Positive Comments: Big full sound. Vocal is very clear and can understand every word. Kind of a sad song… a bit of a catharsis after a failed relationship. Dinger carries the song from beginning to end. For my ears, the performances were the best part of this song. Best of luck!

Constructive Comments: Vocal is very much out in front of the mix… I prefer the vocal to be mixed in with the music better. So for me, this subject matter is not something I would seek out to listen to. I feel like the accompaniment could be fuller, especially in the drums, a nice drum track could have taken this track to a much higher level. The vibe of the song killed my mood so I am sorry the numbers couldn’t be better… it’s a reflection of my feeling after listening to this song.

Positive Comments: Nice big band sound. Vocal is perfect for the song… Bringing me back to the 50s with this sound and arrangement. Great accompaniment and the vocal is not lost with all the instrumentation. I enjoyed this song, the sounds were very authentic and the style was perfect.

Constructive Comments: Kind of strange having all the live horns on top of programmed drums, hard for my ears to comprehend. Good job on the mix, everything is very clear and not cluttered… very hard to do… I enjoyed everything except for the drums… next time, if you want, I am a professional drummer and record clean live drums… this song needed live drums.

Positive Comments: Nice full sound in this recording. The vocals are very present and clear. Vocal is very upfront in the mix and I like it for this song. Tracks are solid… Love the entrance of the strings in the second verse, placed just right in the mix. Lyrics are good and very clear. Good job blending programmed instruments with live, the song feels live.

Constructive Comments: Song doesn’t strike me as jazz… more like Rock & Roll Oldies. Reminds me of the old Leslie Gore song “You Don’t Own Me”… Guitar was too loud when it entered at 2:03… it was nice just too loud, you can get your point across without shoving down our throats. Better to let the ear adjust to the sound and not be accosted by it. Guitar volume is much better near the end.
