Positive Comments: Hi there instrumentation was funky but I had a hard time hearing the solo guitar in the beginning of the track. It could have been louder was hearing a trumpet playing that solo. Altogether enjoyed listening to it hard to think who it reminds me of as it was an instrumental. Could here this being used in sync.

Constructive Comments: Guitar needed to be upfront in mix in the beginning. Great playing enjoyed listening to it maybe a little light and shade to give the tune some more texture. The drums could have chopped this up a little more but apart from that cool funky track that had a groove to dance to! Nice work .

Positive Comments: Great funkster feel here. No a big fan of the subject matter but hey I had a wry smile on my face imagining the singer telling the story! Reminds me of some cool Grandmaster Flash riff but maybe that was the trumpet part. It was one of those grooves that chugged along and made you sing along.

Constructive Comments: The hook was there and stayed. Loved the trumpet sounds and the rhythm section could have benefited from a bit more space that is let the train stop at a station for a second so we can jump on again. Maybe a breakdown before the third verse ? I was hearing some backing vox in this just to add a little spice and get you ready to get back on the train.

Positive Comments: Hi I really like the vibe but I found the instrumentation needed a little more space, light and shade/ maybe change of key coming out of the first solo? Nice chops here.Altogether I like this tune it reminded me of early seventies lovely California jazz fusion. Balmy beach days.

Constructive Comments: The vocal, although sounding great could have benefited from a little call and answer backing vox in the chorus, you actually reminded me a little of Michael Franks. The line that said “I had no way of knowing” dropping the “I had” and making it “no way of knowing” instead would make it flow better just a thought. Great work enjoyed it muchly!!!

Constructive Comments: I think expansion of how your chauffer drives your life in LA would be even stronger. For example, what about your chauffer saves your butt in LA? I wouldn’t be afraid to repeat the song title “my chauffer always drives” and perhaps emphasize it with back up harmonies.The section that starts with Aint no bigger thrill” feels like the chorus, perhaps build off of that with my chauffer (always) drives.
