Positive Comments: A nice country rendition of this classic song. The key change is executed well. The instrumentation sits nicely below the raw male country vocal. Nice backing vocals and harmonies.All of the parts work well together. The main vocal transitions well with the higher register towards the end of the song. A pleasant, unpretentious laid back version of the track.

Constructive Comments: I would suggest decreasing the tempo slightly-it could give the track more gravitas. You could also pause for effect and slow down even more in the final verse to get the point of the song across, with just bare instrumentation underneath.

Positive Comments: This track has a light, uplifting quality that speaks of clear mornings, unexpected journeys and new beginnings. Delicate strings beautifully interspersed with harmonica it rambles along and grabs your attention without bowling you over.

Constructive Comments: Consider adding another section to increase interest throughout the song. This track is begging for a melodic vocal line with pretty lyrics. The quality of the recording is very good- a lovely melody would be the icing on the cake. You could even consider the vocal line as a duet and add in some harmonies to kick it right over the top.

Constructive Comments: By around 2:10, I’m pretty bored with the drum programming. The stock sounds work, if that’a what you’re going for. Genereally, speaking you get a nice reverb on the Sax patch, to give it a little air.

Constructive Comments: Was really waiting for this to open up into a full blown composition. It’s fine as it is but it could even be better if it had a definitive melody, some breaks from the format. There are lots of good ideas here, bits and pieces could be used in video/movie/tv.

Positive Comments: An exceptional voice and the accompaniment totally supports the voice. The harmonies are also excellent. I love the folk violin supporting the song and it was pleasing to listen to, a real delight.It has a retro feel and the instrumentation together sounds great. The musical interlude is also engaging. the final harmony is also wonderful.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics did not grab me as much as the singing itself, perhaps all the lyrics are not completely clear.I think that the title ‘Now your life has begun’ will garner interest. It is a niche song but I think that it has crossover potential like the Wellerman Shanty in the UK. Public taste can be quite broad.Great song well done.
