Positive Comments: You have a very good longing, melancholy, haunting tune that is easy to follow. The tune in the chorus has a nice bounce to it. I like the vulnerable, insecure lyrics, but what keeps the lyrics from being victimized is the up front honesty. Lyrically, it fits the mood of the tune, as do the steady beats in the chorus. Orchestral emphasis is very well placed. I also like the change of keys towards the end.
Constructive Comments: You have a very good melody and the lyrics are appropriate for the mood, so that’s an automatic 4s and 5s. The only thing that comes to mind is a personal thing and so that doesn’t affect how I score. The chorus sounds like a mouthful, particularly “Thought I’d always beLove by you as I have til now.” Perhaps “Thought I’d always be loved by you until now” may be easier to sing. Yes, experimental, and it may well be that what you have right now is the best way to do it!
