Positive Comments: I’m guessing this is the instrumental version of another tune you have on BJ. Difficult to score fairly without the melody/vocal line as that makes such a huge difference.

Constructive Comments: Based on this version along I could hear it picking up in rhythmic arrangement from around 30 seconds in.

Positive Comments: Very Ce Ce Peniston in places! Production akin to the like of Babyface etc. Smoooooooth!

Constructive Comments: Only thing for me is the length of the tune – most people including me have short attention spans and lose interest unless it is something they would go out and buy themselves. I’d shorten it where you can (intro etc).

Positive Comments: Sounds like euro pop instrumental. Clear sounds and clean mix. Nice build up as the song progresses. Lots of nice little riffs to keep interest. Got a late eighties / nineties vibe.

Constructive Comments: Some more up to date sounds would help the mix. A little more variety in the structure would help add interest.

Positive Comments: Ideally suited to film underscore. Sound halfway through bit like ZZ top meets techno. Some interesting ideas and cool riffs. Got a retro vibe. Could imagine hearing this in a Las Vegas casino. Plenty going on.

Constructive Comments: Would be nice to hear some vocals – personal preference. Some of the stock sample sounds like plucked bass may sound better being played on real bass. Getting to the meat of the vibe a bit earlier in the song would enhance the overall listening experience.

Positive Comments: Artist reminds me of 70’s rock bands. Steady Eddie performance. Nice arrangement and cleanly recorded. Vocals in tune. Conversational lyrics. Builds nicely to the chorus.

Constructive Comments: Would benefit from a professional glaze in the mix. Instruments sounds a tad separate rather than a gelled mix. The issue is in the mix not the performance. Re-equing may enhance this a lot and some sound treatment.

Positive Comments: Dave Gilmour type guitar to a Pink Floyd ‘the wall’ type bass line with a 4/4 dance beat. Easy floating vibe.

Constructive Comments: A lot of different styles in this mix. Could be simplified and more modern arrangement. Needs more of a chorus/hook. Meanders rather than hits a definite hook.

Positive Comments: Song sits somewhere between Astrid Gilberto and Divine Comedy. Nice chilled vibe. Cool percussion and bass sound. Nice piano playing.

Constructive Comments: Would like to see the lyrics pushed a little further. The la da da’s would be better with words. The vocal delivery is a tad theatrical for my taste. Maybe reduce the vibrato a bit to give the song a more modern vibe. Vocal could sit back a bit more in the mix.

Positive Comments: Well arranged, sounds bit like Genesis of the 70’s with modern production. Good production, vocals are well delivered but for me maybe trying a little too hard. My personal preference is the best songs sound effortless.

Constructive Comments: Maybe just ease back a tad in the vocal delivery, otherwise not much else could be improved. The overall sound could be 70’s, maybe a more modern interpretation could make it more accessible to a younger audience.

Positive Comments: Nice laid back tune, starts off with a hooky keyboard part before the vocals come in. The vocals work quite nicely, they fit well with the style of song. The instrumentation is well done. The mix is good, all instruments are where they should be. Liked the lead acoustic guitar very much. Overall, a very nice effort.

Constructive Comments: Wouldn’t change anything. Enjoyed it a lot.
