Positive Comments: groove you can drive a truck through.love the back beat – great interplay between the guitar, piano and organ.mix and production are stellar, as are the performances of all the instruments.love the chord progressionseffective breaks especially with the climbs – very sweet.

Constructive Comments: really nothing negative here at all – I can hear this track as a backing for a film, but heck, I’d just sit and listen to this as it fills my soul with them funky bluz.

Positive Comments: lots of good things going on here – nice guitar work, cool instrumental breaks, effective groove.the lyrics are imaginative and to the point with a sly hook, and the vocals sell the lyrics well.

Constructive Comments: right off I felt that the snare was way too dominant, both too forward in the mix and with that big reverb taking up too much of the sonic tapestry.I also thought that “glow on her face we all admire” is a bit clumsy – admire isn’t rhyming with anything, and while “glow on her face” works (yeah, I know that look!!) – while I may appreciate it and give it a knowing wink, I wouldn’t say that I “admire” it.

Positive Comments: solid track with really fine vocals and effective use of backing vocals. Mix is solid though a bit too much low mids for my taste. hook is strong and the little breaks are effective as well.

Constructive Comments: the piano solo didn’t really knock my socks off – guess I expected more there.the lyrics are fine but didn’t really reach me, but that’s my own thing, overall this track is very nice, well structured and clean.

Positive Comments: Very unique take on Vancouver. I loved the fuzz tone on the guitar, which fit the song appropriately and didn’t sound cheap like so many I hear on Broadjam. Overall it’s a fun song and it certainly has possibilities if things were tightened up.

Constructive Comments: I felt frustrated by the looseness between the instruments and occasionally the vocal, where things were NEAR the beat but not quite there. Probably my 20+ years as a pro drummer speaking, but this song would really benefit from the use of real drums, attention to meter and a little smoother mix. It’s a good song, and it wouldn’t take that much to make this marketable.

Positive Comments: A beautiful soundtrack that invokes the idea of contentedness, harmony and nature. I imagine wild horses running through the prairie. It would work well with a film to underline these things. Especially the fullness of the orchestral arrangement makes me feel good, while listening to this song. All in all a very well crafted piece of music!

Constructive Comments: In this song, there are 3 parts, when a musical phrase gets repeated 3 times. I mean the parts beginning at 0:29, 1:22 and 2:49. I would like it more, when these parts could be a little different from each other, so that the hook gets more exciting. It would also work well, when in each of these parts could be a little rise. In fact there is a rise when I compare the parts from 0:29, 1:22 and 2:49. I just mean it would be great when there would also be a difference and/or rise within 0:29-0:43, 1:22-1:36, and 2:49-3:03.
