Positive Comments: Hi again, guys. This piece is a really pleasing, chilling and soulful take on a tragic incident. Really great instrumentation that creates very pleasing subtleties throughout, such as the brief appearance of the flute. Ideal vocals, as well.

Constructive Comments: Nice work guys. Nothing I would do to change this.

Positive Comments: OK I’m joking with the tittle suggestion. I think broadjam should do something to identify instrumentals. That said, this is some tasty tasty stuff. Both leads, if i can call the two main guitar tracks that, combine and play against each other well.

Constructive Comments: Over 5 minutes, the general tempo/mood doesn’t alter much. If the song built to a coda or “big ending”, that would really cap it off. The melody is pleasant, just needs a little drama. Maybe an unexpected chord change? Just a suggestion.

Positive Comments: Wow cool sound right at start, sounding fresh but professional. Voice is just the right tone for this kind of song. Arrangement takes chances, with pauses, dynamics – love that. I couldn’t pick up all the lyrics but what I heard sounds thoughtful, no cliches, which is good obviously. I actually think the track could be a bit longer!

Constructive Comments: “hook” is a corny concept but still feel a little bit like the song would really come across with a bit punchier chorus. Structurally I think that’s “there is a code to all of this” but maybe it’s not? A chorus that pops would really put this over the top. Ending shows off musicianship but maybe something snappier would work well too…

Positive Comments: sound is rough and ready, which kind of works for this song. So many people trying to smooth everything out, sound super “produced,” it’s kind of refreshing to hear something that’s got edge to it, like this. They keep the energy up for five minutes too!

Constructive Comments: Sounds like a band rehearsal. One mic picking up the whole band. At least vocal is up front. The mixture of kind of a punk rock sound and a message of “love, why the hate” – I mean, on one hand it’s unexpected, on other hand, kind of doesn’t blend to shout in kind of angry tone “why all the hate.”
