Song: Where Did We Go Wrong

Reviewer: Original Quigley

Positive Comments: This track reminded me a little of a combo of Fleetwood Mac and 80s/90s rockband, Heart. I particularly liked the bluesy guitar that was played throughout. The chorus was quite catchy and I enjoyed listening. Good job!

Constructive Comments: My only suggestion would be that the vocals sounded a little ‘far away’ from the instrumentation and i would have liked to have had them more central.

Positive Comments: I really enjoyed this song. It has a feel of yesterday but still seems current. The vocals are really perfect and it lends itself for a film, I could even hear this one on the radio. The instrumentation was spot on and the arrangement was very commercial and appealing to the ear. Lyrically very well done loved the Hook! Very well done keep up the good work!

Constructive Comments: Another very well written tune. This site is full of very talented people and I am proud to say I’m a part of it even if I bring up the rear! Very well done, you could land this in a film or on the radio!

Positive Comments: I don’t know where to start! The instrumentation was spot on, very commercial sounding but obviously from an earlier era. However for me that is not a bad thing. Loved the vocals loved the arrangement, really nice harmonies. In fact I dare say very reminiscent of 5th Dimension. Lyrically perfect perfect perfect. I’m a big fan!!! Easily a great fit for a period movie or TV show, very well done!

Constructive Comments: Can’t add more here I would have bought the 45 back in the day. Still has a place today.

Positive Comments: I typically don’t listen much to country. But this has its place. Good old school country music. None of that pop rock with a southern drawl calling itself country. Good job sticking to the roots of the genre.

Constructive Comments: The only critique I would have is that at times the vocals seem out of key and pitchy.

Positive Comments: Love the guitar and the vocals fit excellently to this style of blues.

Constructive Comments: I understand what you were going for with the background music. Just me personally I would probably play the circus keyboard as an intro then just go with the bass and maybe get a little more drumming tempo in. I think some soft brush snare would fit very well with some jazz snare fills.
