Positive Comments: This is a pretty, smooth, country song all the way. The lyric is well written. The singer has a smooth voice and always in tune. The instrumentation is nice. The recording is nice and clean, all instruments are properly balanced with the vocal in front. This is a song that subtly says that you have to keep on keeping on through the rough and trying times.
Constructive Comments: This song is so nice that what I have to point out may seem a little nit picky – but there are no major things. In the first verse there is a mix of points of view. “..I can’t explain..”, “..we’re never shown”. “..You fall in love..”, “..I don’t let it break my heart”. The points of view should be consistent so as not to confuse the listener. Also, I hate to say it, but the rhyme of heart/apart is ..ah.. really well used. In verse two there is a mixture of tenses. Keeping tenses uniform is another way to make the song tight. “Sometimes it WILL all work out, sometimes it won’t.” Also there is another instance of points of view – “..we’ve got to learn”, “..your fingers burned”. These are small items in the big scheme, but they are important to the cohesiveness of any song. To make a song lyric tight, keep the points of view and tenses consistent. This helps to guide the listener through your song and not confuse him/her.This is a lovely song overall and I would like to hear more of your music.

Positive Comments: This song is hitting a little too close to home….but thanks for the shout out anyway…lol This kinda gives me the image of those cats in Nashville playing out of a Fake book at 11 in the morning…sad stuff….but your music was jumping so it came out as more hopeful and hopeless…this guy hasn’t given up yet…and shouldn’t.
Constructive Comments: Wish there was a bit more variety in the arrangement. Could maybe use a start and a gradual start…kinda like “Shout”…..just an idea…

Positive Comments: The vocalist was very energetic and did a great job convincing me she was serious…even if the question was kinda silly. Good hook…memorable hook….very marketable hook…especially today…could probably use Superman in my hometown…Portland…right about now.
Constructive Comments: I’m afraid that the background music was just a big mess…just sounded like it didn’t belong with what she was singing…no dynamics…just a din…

Positive Comments: Cool tune that has the potential in my opinion to be an even better tune if a better mix was applied and a very cool tune if the production was tweaked a little. I like the uniqueness of this track and the trippy lonesome vibe it gave me. The arpeggiator I did not see coming but I am sure glad it showed up because it fit like a glove in that section of the song. It reminded me of the 80’s and some of the sounds they would use in film scores back in those days. I think Scarface had similar sounds to ramp up the intensity of a scene. I think Knight Rider did as well. Either way it worked for my ears and for the song in general. I likey!!!
Constructive Comments: Good work!!

Positive Comments: Cool piece that seems to do a great job of combining many elements of rock. I hear hints of everything from classic rock to grunge and everything in between. One minute you’re hearing the Monkees and the next minute you’re hearing REM, and on and on. Really good performances all the way around.

Positive Comments: I remember reviewing this song before…a different version I’m sure. This version is full of dynamics and snap. Great performances all around…what total fun. It reminds me of something from a musical…I can see the staging…kind of an “Oklahoma” thing. Well done…and a good investment.
Constructive Comments: Could have lived without the speed up toward the end…almost sounded synthetic…may well have been.
