Positive Comments: Very soothing piano study. I like the attack on the lower chords in particular. This could easily find itself into a film/tv background for the right project. Nice feel and vibe.

Constructive Comments: For me the ending stopping on mid-range instead of having a lower register left me a little flat, but still a solid piece.

Positive Comments: Absolutely LOVE the chord changes in the progression. Initially it sounds very simplistic, but there are layers to this song. This is one of the best Country songs on Broadjam, flat out. Instrumentation is perfect in its minimalism, and I don’t even miss drums or bass. Melodic, thoughtful, near-perfect in every way. GREAT JOB!

Constructive Comments: I would have given this a perfect score but the song screams out for additional harmonies. You don’t need to remix anything, just needs layers of backing vocal (male and female would be great) 3-4 part harmony on “Born To Dance” and a few other places could liven up as well. Just brilliant songwriting and SO CLOSE to being a hit! Listen to the backing vocals on some of Alison Krauss’s stuff and work it in here if possible.

Positive Comments: Loved the 2nd guitar doing the arps at around 2:12. I don’t usually listen to this style of music, but when done well, I love it. Reminds me of MCR or maybe Radiohead? Maybe A7F? Or perhaps Pearl Jam or Puddle of Mudd. Yea, bet you didn’t think I knew them, huh? Forgive me, but I think those are pretty good comparisons. This would fit well in any TV or media placement where those artists are used. Probably in like a Cop/Hospital serials, or in teen dramas. I’m sure you could score a movie with this as well. Maybe even in a racing video game, like Tony Hawk Pro Skater or MX vs ATV Unleashed. Early 2000s type vibes.

Constructive Comments: The hook was a good 8 measures, but I think it came only once. Also, I couldn’t clearly pick up what was being sung, and how it related to the rest of the song. I think maybe the instrumental is slightly drowning the vocals. If you could go back to the mix and perhaps clean it up, I think you would solve both my criticisms. 3k hz to 8 k hz would have to boosted vocally, or Mid-sided, I am thinking, and the instruments panned slightly at that moment with automation. Just a though to get you started.Even still, great work on everything, I would love to hear this.

Positive Comments: Really nice track! I liked the whole vibe and direction of this track. This was somewhere between the genres of rock, Folk, Delta Blues, and Country, which are not the genres I usually listen to, but it sounded like a cool new blend of them all. I think your lyrics and voice inflection really give it a kind of experimental twist to it all too! So, thats why I settled on labeling it as “New Age”. I know for sure I could hear this on “Coast to Coast” AM Radio, or a Bill Nye the Science Guy episode. Fantastic recording sir.

Constructive Comments: I would suggest to perhaps take another look at your vocal recording and make sure to mix it with a slight more FX. It sounds a little to dry during the verses, but you nailed it in the chorus with the subtle touch of reverb. I think it sounds good as is, but perhaps you can elevate it even more with some stereo imaging and pan or delay effects.
