Positive Comments: Interesting intro, digging the Rhodes piano vibe. Jazzy to the bone man… love the timing on the changes. Gets sweet when the harmonica enters… then changing keys? got it, that’s so cool!! Good breakdown then back to the intro, solid. Sax too! Great sounds!! Nice shout out to Stevie there in the two minute section with the baby crying and harmonica.

Constructive Comments: I’m awake now. I wish you had more rhythmically to say than a shaker. I respect your piano playing and arranging skills. Everything falls off of the time of the shaker in the last verse near the end. This messes with the pulse then there’s even a bad copy at 2:40, please keep look out for these little things which hurt your professional production. Every thing else was on and fresh jah!

Positive Comments: :20 seconds in and it’s great, there’s your hook, by 40 seconds I hear your influences. Really nice lead vocal sound and style. Very sweet vocal harmonies… heck there are great harmonies and sonic wonders everywhere. Such a great guitar recording The love put into the electric guitar solo theme, so good. Female vocals are inspired and heartfelt. Is that cello? and piccolo? The lyrics match the song so well… one complements the other so well.

Constructive Comments: Extended instrumental and vocal improve section to the fade… you go!!! Make that music, and make it the way you want it to be. It felt great! Some elements were original and unique, fresh and other times I could hear your influences. Little crackle on the right side at the very beginning… I wonder if something could have been done about that… someone missed a mute? Another pop on the right side at 1:57… old recording, 2″ tape?? or ADAT??

Positive Comments: I am enjoying the sounds and vibe of this track. Good to hear it develop. I like the arrangement and ideas, nice orchestration… even better at in the art of subtly, not overdoing an idea. Nicely developed melodies. Good use of rhythms in this forum.

Constructive Comments: Feels somewhat disjointed to me, very multifaceted ethnic blend. I wouldn’t say that the styles are clashing but also I am not sold as them matching that well either. There’s like a detective them, then it gets hip hop-ish with a middles eastern flav then it goes Carlos Santana. I hear you in there somewhere and that is the good thing, the glue that makes this tune happen. Then the guitar in the very end seems to stick out some. Coming from a lifetime of live music this being all ‘in the box’ with the exception of the guitar you’ve done very well… the song has a nice human feel and likable element.

Positive Comments: Very nice 12 string intro.. into big surprises! The melodic section at the top is sweet. Wow what an entertaining arrangement. Nicely composed and orchestrated, what a production! You must have needed a conductor. All live too… Thank you!! The changes at 1:30 got fun… again, another unexpected pleasantry. Flute solo at 2:15 was cool, jazzy Medieval. then bass solo!! Oh my… an acoustic bass though. You go!

Constructive Comments: Acoustic guitar is way too loud in the what I would call ‘verse sectinos’…wish I heard it mixed into the tune better and featured so much… Great guitar playing though. Some intonation issues especially on flute but if this is a live studio recording then you have to go with the best take… Great job!

Positive Comments: Intro is intriguing. I like the Pink Floydish guitar accompaniment, really settles the song into a nice pulse. Come very nice vocal lines. Interesting chord changes, match the vocal content. Very good mix and sound quality. I enjoyed the story… it’s a story line that just about everyone or anyone could relate to. Great job on this song.

Constructive Comments: I miss a live band for a song like this…. thinking about how great the instrumental arrangement could be. Everything sounds good, if possible please develop more parts, I am sure it could be incredible. Start the song like this and perhaps in the second verse the band joins in with a solid supportive beat… you could add a few lines and or hits and holds and the song would have a much larger impact. Of course this would also help lengthen the song to a more acceptable industry standard.

Constructive Comments: I’d love to hear this re-mixed with a better balance. There are keyboards and bass but both seem a bit buried while percussion is almost too far out front. But it’s an excellent listening tune regardless.

Positive Comments: I like the socially-conscious bent of the lyrics for this blues number. The players are solidly accomplished.

Constructive Comments: My guess is there was no actual producer to focus this project. It’s loose, but it’s overwhelmed with reverb and looseness. I’ll bet, if it were tightened up, that would give it the bump!
