Song: WHERE LOVERS GO (featuring Amy Jo Ellis)

Positive Comments: I think this is a very nice, well composed Latin-Jazz number, which could become a standard, and would be nice to play over for instrumentalists. It has a coherent structure with harmonic contrast, and it is consistently relaxed and welcoming, with the music underlying the lyrics well. In fact the setting of the words is excellent.
Constructive Comments: The recording would benefit from some detailed tidying, I feel. The lead vocal and acoustic guitar are slightly off pitch at times, and this could be remedied in the studio with some judicious pitch correction, Antares or similar, without compromising the natural and spontaneous feel of the players and singers. I am sure that the flute should be comping over the main part so much, but might benefit from being given a solo slot later in the song, and with the level higher in the mix. Same with the guitar. At times the polyphony seems a bit busy to me. But it all has a very honest and personalised feel, and would be good to hear live in a jazz club. Great composition though, music and lyrics, and I enjoyed listening to it. Thanks.
