Positive Comments: Very interesting time signature changes and the instrumentation was very solid. While l’m not into lo-fi myself, you could do yourself a huge favor by re-categorizing this as lo-fi instead of “general rock” as it’s much truer to the sound you produce. I actually liked the clean vocal in the turnaround 10 times better than the over-driven sound, but that’s just personal taste. Overall still a good track.

Constructive Comments: Again, I’d either lose the over-driven sound and go clean, or change the song categorization. My personal opinion is people who over-use the distorted sound do so because they can’t play, but that’s not the case – you can play and you can sing. Celebrate THAT!

Positive Comments: Nicely done! Right from the start, you can hear that the instruments and vocals are well recorded. Like the piano playing very much, simple but very effective, reminds me of Elton John who is one of my favourites. The lead vocal sounds awesome, very upfront in the mix which works very well with this type of song. The harmony is well done and nicely placed in the mix. A very nice song indeed!

Positive Comments: I really liked the vocalist. Reminds me of Kristen May, lead singer on “Magnetic” by Flyleaf. Strong, crystal clear and rocking. The guitar had a great tone, but severely over-shadowed whatever bass line was there. A remix would definitely benefit the tune, but I absolutely enjoyed this from the get-go.

Constructive Comments: As mentioned, the guitar dominated the bass in my opinion, and when the “fake” drum sounds kicked in, I would have rather had more overdubs of real drums. Personal preference (being a drummer for over 20 years), but the song remains well-done and entertaining.

Positive Comments: Really outstanding sound. At first I thought the vocal might be too breathy, but it grew on me through the song and I enjoyed it start to finish. Extremely-tasteful instrumentation and the chord pattern kept my attention. Beautiful melody. I just kept thinking “Why is this in Modern Blues – it should be in the R&B category” as it reminded me of a Teddy Pendergrass vibe. Very well done.

Constructive Comments: Lyrically it was intimate but slightly over the top, and the actual hook wasn’t easy to identify (or the song title). But again, I liked the smooth, easy listen and overall feel of the track.
