Positive Comments: This is pure 80’s R&B no question about it. I feel like this would’ve been a track in a movie that uses 80’s R&B, like Breakin’ or one of those black movies that didn’t get as much notoriety but became a cult classic. The bass sound legit and the chords are very pretty. The structure also suggests there are lyrics that are written, but not recorded on this track.

Constructive Comments: Suggestion, please record the lyrics so we can also be blessed by the vocals. I’d also like to hear better drums. Im just not a fan of the electronic drums on this particular track. They might work on another track, but I’m not confident they flow with this one. Timing is great, just not a fan of the texture of these electronic drums with this track. Other than that..nice work!

Positive Comments: Very difficult to judge as I could not hear the lyrics! I liked the tempo and the feel of the music nice chord changes nice production musically.

Constructive Comments: Where do I begin. I could not come up with a title. When producing a ballad I think the emotion of the lyrics should be in the forefront. This song was difficult to hear any of the lyrics so number 1 I would remix. I really wanted to hear the words because the feel of the music lends itself to be a potentially strong ballad, and the vocals sounded also potentially good as I could hear the tone, I think I would like to hear this again at least remixed.

Positive Comments: Beautiful intro!! Quality written all over it! Lovely warm harmonies. This is possibly the first time I’ve heard an RnB track on here that i think could actually be released as it is. Very Jam/Lewis/Jackson/Alexander ONeal/Midnight Starr etc. (I’m an old school fan!) – can you tell my age?!!!

Positive Comments: Great to hear a real old school sound and vibe! Reminds me of so much wonderful music from the 80’s. Low score from me for market potential but only because it is too late for such a track – if you’d asked me in 1987 it would be a 5/5!Reminds me of: Jeff Lorber/Al Jarreau/Sherrick and many more!

Constructive Comments: Nothing to add with the exception of the backing vocals which could benefit from some female higher pitched harmonies in there to enrichen the sound.

Positive Comments: Instrumentation in the track gives it more of a pop vobe for me rather than RnB. I guess there’s a full vocal version here somewhere. Always tricky to fairly score an instrumental when it so clearly is a full vocal tune minus the vocal track. Unless I’m mistaken of course!

Constructive Comments: If this is aimed at being an instrumental track in itself I’d like to here the backing be less busy as it detracts from the lead line given by the guitar. Counterpoint with the brass patches play against each other and for me clash a little.
