Positive Comments: Here’s a classic that feels like an 80’s upbeat ballad type tune that has a beautiful nostalgic essence to it that I miss from back in the day that needs to make a come back. Potetic interpretation of the ship in the sea lost, etc…is nice and create a vivid concept, the winter cold and craving to be warm again..LOVE IT! I can feel the confusion of should there be reconciliation or let it go from the hurtful past so strong!

Constructive Comments: While I love the 80’s ballad feels, I can’t help wondering what this track would be like if a lil more guitar was added to it, get a lil more gritty with the chorus and then again vamping out at the end, but giving the smooth contrast during verses to create that contrast with the production thats is spoken about in the lyrics. Also bring up the lead vocal a little more as it was hard to understand just a couple words, but over all nice work that is inspiring and encouraging and very relatable!!

Positive Comments: This feels CLASSIC! Felt like I was listenin’ to a lost & found track of the Beatles or something. Even though the guitars sounded slightly out of tune, I LIKED it that way. Heck, it may not een be guitars, but it’s true musicianship coming together to make MUSIC …THATS what matters most to me. Poetic Lyrics, musicianship, vocals not over processed, THIS is what makes music MUSIC! NICE WORK!

Constructive Comments: I wish the digitization of uploads matched what’s heard live or with analog, I feel like the richness of what brings the beautiful essence of this work is lost because of the digital interruption to make available online. Vocals may not be pitch perfect, but what the vocals deliver is PERFECT for this expression and experience! AWESOME!

Positive Comments: Yo! I haven’t heard this kind of flow from someone else other than myself in a WHILE! DEFINITELY got that 90’s throw back Old Jack Swing that I use to vibe to in High School and STILL occasionally pull out at times. This is very well orchestrated and enjoyable and inspiring making me wanna add to it or pul out some of my own oldies but goodies! I could go on and on about the instrumentation properly done start to finish, different artists I think of, different events from that era, but I’ll stop! THIS is GOOD STUFF! AWESOME!

Constructive Comments: My only set back on this is I wish there were vocals I could hear with it because it definitely has those open spots for singin’ that could go in there. The other thing is maybe pullin the sampled vocal trigger thing up just a touch and the organ synth riff back just a hair, the kick drum give a lil more 808ish bottom to beef up just a tad… Other than that Everything is SPOT ON FANTASTIC! LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU for SHARING!!!! REAL TALK…tHANK YOU!!!

Positive Comments: The intro reminds me of a George Harrison sound on the guitar. I like the backing vocals and the placement of them in the verses and not just the chorus. I like the organ sound which is very reminiscent of old Bob Dylan. I like the lyrics and how the verses tie to the chorus and it is an upbeat and catchy song even though it is about someone leaving! The melody and guitar parts are good and I can see myself humming it to myself after hearing the song. I like how the song fades out on the chorus.

Constructive Comments: I like how the song is mixed but would like to hear the bass stand out a little more, and there is an opportunity for a more stand out bass line but that is a minor point. Maybe something to consider in the future. While I really like the guitar lead mentioned in the Positive comments, it is almost used too much throughout the song, and I would remove it from some parts especially where there are vocals. I would rather hear the vocals, especially the chorus since it is an interesting vocal chorus.
