Positive Comments: Great, dreamy intro with a great opening chord. I love the way the drums come in. Lovely instrumentation. The lead guitar is fantastic. Lovely bass and keyboard arrangement. A very strong melody. Great breakdown at 4.00. First class sound quality..mastered to perfection. A very effective hypnotic piece with hints of Pink Floyd in their heyday.

Constructive Comments: I mention the drums above. I think the song would be improved with some drum fills and percussion. If possible get a live drummer/percussionist. The tune is worth pitching for appropriate film/TV lisings. To conclude great work.

Positive Comments: Firstly this a beautiful song. Nice intro. Very catchy melody. The chorus with the block vocal is sublime. The singer is first class, an tremendous singer. The lyrics are simple but effective. The song has a great vibe.

Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the instrumentation and the arrangement because I think that some of the synth sounds don’t really suit the song, particularly on the chorus, where the synth is fighting the vocal. Also a less bombastic drum/percussion track would work better. I really like this song, but feel that in terms of arrangement and instrumentation a more delicate touch would bring out the inherent beauty of the melody. Hope these comments make sense!

Positive Comments: I like the very short percussion intro. Very clever and entertaining lyrics. The singer sells the song very well. Very catchy with a strong chorus. Great acoustic guitar and the short bursts of lead guitar are really effective, particularly at 1.50. Lovely use of percussion.

Constructive Comments: As I’ve stated above I really liked the intro and think it could have been doubled in length. (I know short intros are in vogue these days).I think the song has a Latin feel, think Ricky Martin, and as such a touch of brass would have worked better than the violin. Also those final guitar chords, right at the end could have been accentuated to indicate definitively that it was end of the song. Hence I’ve marked down the arrangement. Overall though a strong song.

Positive Comments: This song draws out emotion. It is impressionistic and makes one think of life that goes on deep deep under water and under glaciers. I love the sounds of the bubbling guitars and basses of this electronic jazz. The song is GREAT! True artistry. (I played it five times.)

Constructive Comments: There was a fuzzy sound to the recording that did not seem necessary (but I may not be knowledgeable enough on electronic music to say.)

Positive Comments: You have a nice peaceful sounding voice that lends itself well to this tune. You told a story very well. Musically it was fitting and not overpowering. I could see/hear Maybe Kenny Rogers doing this one.

Constructive Comments: Honestly, about 1/2 -3/4’s of the way through this tune I was ready to hear another. As with Lyin’Eyes or Hotel California, you have a story, a bit more in length than a “standard 3 min tune” but they GRAB YOU with the music. DYNAMICS make a tune pop and memorable. Good start (my opinion)so go for it. Best!
