Positive Comments: Almost anything promoting faith in spirituality is gonna get an encouraging nod from me. I feel like the music here is a supporting drive pushing the lyrics forward like a train. I love the effort to not stay in a box with style interpretation.

Constructive Comments: While I appreciate all the elements used to express a strong message, the overall delivery didnt meet my expectations. I felt the category label was also misleading. Song felt closer to country but then had instrumentation (electronic synth arpeggio) to suggest something else. Vocal skill was a tad weak while pushed prominantly over the rest of the production. The music was too far back in the mix. Overall sound like a great idea that could use some more time on the tweeking side of things to give a more polished presentation.

Constructive Comments: It sounds a little dated when compared to modern pop. Great song for a musical genre! Suggest checking out Dreampop on other streaming sites like Spotify to get an idea of what artists are doing now.

Positive Comments: I like the percussive intro. The song is very catchy. The lead vocal and the backing vocal arrangement is outstanding. Love the change at 0.40 and the way the instrumentation pulls back at 2.25. The sound of the song reminds me of the Go-Go’s or the Bangles.

Constructive Comments: I think there needs to be a change of musical direction at 2.09..a bridge that takes the song somewhere different. I really like the lyric idea of getting out into the sun, a beautiful day and enjoying life, but I feel that that theme was overused towards the end of the song. Again a distinctive bridge with a new lyric idea would remedy this. Hope this doesn’t sound too critical, because I really like the vibe of the song.

Positive Comments: It’s really lovely song. Very engaging lyrics, which paint a vivid image..almost cinematic. Excellent vocal performance as the singer really sells the song with conviction. Excellent melody. Lovely instrumental outro. Great arrangement. The song reminds me of Michael Franks or some of George Michael’s jazzy songs.

Constructive Comments: I’m being picky here, but I marked down the instrumentation a notch as the guitar solo volume level changes at 2.00. Maybe it’s a drop in that hasn’t quite been mixed in with what went before. I wouldn’t normally point it out, but it’s such a lovely song that but for that it would have been perfect.
