Positive Comments: This is a good country song. Fun to listen to. Nice bluegrass band. You can tell they’re having fun playing this one together. Though the lyrics aren’t deep, they work for an easy-listening country song. Love the fiddle and mandolin.

Constructive Comments: Background vocals are weak. Strengthen them up tighten them up. Bring up main vocal in mix, at least at the beginning of the song and work on clarity.

Love the choice of instruments.

Though that sounds like a depressing theme, the writer pulls it off as a rather cheerful song with a wise chorus. Love changes you. Nicely done. I like the verse about the junk mail. Very original.

Positive Comments: This song is as sweet and honest as it gets. Such a poignant love song. The WAY it is sung is so precious and convincing. It immediately draws the listener in. I kept trying to figure out my favorite rhymes and there were too many to list. None of them are forced or trite. I found this song refreshingly original. The writer stuck to his theme and executed it beautifully. Instrumentation is a nice mix of guitar, keys, strings, nicely mixed. This song definitely has potential!

Constructive Comments: There needs to be an introduction to this song. Give us a bar or two. Don’t just launch into it with your vocal. Give us a good preface for the great song and instrumentation to follow. The lead vocal and back-up harmony are nice, but could be better blended and timed/matched in my opinion. But really truly, you’ve got a great song here and you are a great singer and writer. I really liked it!
