Song: Sonic World
Reviewer: Artificial Reality
Positive Comments: The track kicks off right into the very essence of the sonic intention. It’s two minutes of minimal motion with a few embellishments that add a little flavor to the mood of the track to prevent it from getting overly boring. The choice of percussion is great, and it feels like this would be a good track to do a quick 2-minute jog to.
Constructive Comments: There’s no intro. No build into the song… there could easily be a synth-only intro or even just parts of the beat to start off the piece for about 5 seconds, but the song just starts and there’s very little flavor added for nearly the whole 2 minutes of audio. In terms of melody, there’s no variation – it’s monotone. The repeating swirly sound effects are repeated far too often, and the arpeggiation needs to contain some variety as well. Where’s the bridge?
