Positive Comments: The singer brings the listener in and lightens a person’s mood. Very pleasant. The arrangement is excellent and well balanced with the voice which is also very easy to listen to. The lyrics are well worked.

Constructive Comments: I love this kind of music, but I seldom hear it on the radio. It just doesn’t seem to be in the zeitgeist these days. Wish it were. The words, “I drift off in a pleasant daze” are not not sung clearly enough.

Positive Comments: The instrumentation was good.

Constructive Comments: If the lyrics were not so specific, I believe the song might possibly be less voyeuristic. For example, if some of the “her’s” were removed. “the cottage” instead of “her cottage” “that flows through auburn hair” instead of “flowing through her auburn hair.” etc. Instead of “Feels a little strange, A strange kind of love” why not say “A strange kind of love, But is it love or lust”. The rhyme scheme wouldn’t be affected.

Positive Comments: The song has the feeling of truth to it. It really invites the listener in with the emotion. The voice is very good. Guitar is nice. Somewhat of a broadway sound to the song so maybe it’s not actually a pop song.

Constructive Comments: I thought the lyrics sounded a little jumbled at some points.

Positive Comments: Great voice. The voice makes up for the arrangement which is a bit much for me.

Constructive Comments: I personally could not determine the actual pitch of the heavy bass beat of what I assume to be a synthesized instrument. I found the lyrics to be obscure and did not understand what the song was about. (Are you saying you’re pressing to “get it on” even though you’ve been insulted?)
