Positive Comments: Good production, vocals well done and appealing, instruments and vocals are in tune. I think the song has potential.

Constructive Comments: It’s too hard to evaluate the lyrics without a lyric sheet, so I couldn’t comment on them. Even though this is a mid-to-uptempo song, I think the overall production could stand to generate a little more excitement, possibly by speeding up the tempo, or making the drums a little more dynamic.

Positive Comments: There are some really good lines in the lyric, so I think the writer has some potential. The voice is pleasant, in tune, and the arrangement and recording are good.

Constructive Comments: There’s a generic, predictable quality to the music, and for that, I don’t see the song having much potential in it’s present form. For the words to really come alive, I’d like to hear music with a fresher, more dynamic melody and chord progression.

Positive Comments: This song has a very pretty melody, and the singing is competent. The verse and the chorus are clearly defined, and the chorus really stands out. I don’t listen to Christian music, but I agree that the problem resides with us.

Constructive Comments: I’m guessing at the title it really isn’t obvious in the chorus, either the first or last line of the chorus which is where I’d expect it to be. Even though it’s obvious a lot of work went into the arrangement of the voices, the overall product could be a little more dynamic instrumentally, especially when the chorus comes in, with drums, organ, etc.

Positive Comments: The song is very catchy, particularly the chorus. The melody is very memorable. There is a lovely joyous quality to the tune. There are some clever production touches, such as the change at 1.58. The instrumentation is very strong and the rhythm section really drives the tune. Great ending.

Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the quality of the recording because I think the vocal should have been higher in the mix and given more prominence. One further point if the lyrics had been uploaded they would have been easier to review. Good song though.

Positive Comments: This is a very engaging song. It is very catchy..a really strong hook, particularly the chorus. Beautiful chord changes on the words ‘cold’ and ‘reason’. Great vocal performance with some nice double tracking of the voice, which is really effective. Very nicely recorded. Great sound quality. The song has a great epic feel and would not sound out of place on Neil Young’s ‘Harvest.

Constructive Comments: Personally I would have had a short instrumental intro. The addition of an acoustic guitar at 1.06 might have added some foundation to that section. But overall an excellent piece of work.

Positive Comments: A heavy topic wow – Could be a really good song for scene in the right film or for TV – The vox are intense and feel right for the tune. The production is good. Nice melancholy melody for the right mood. Heavy ending and not unexpected.

Constructive Comments: I could hear another instrument in the field – maybe some strings – or synth horn. Some vocal harmony also might add a dynamic.
