Positive Comments: Whoa, started out very grungy in an Alice in Chains feel, then goes into a Master of Reality vibe. A bit disjointed, but grows on me. Vocals need a better mix, they don’t really sound like they are a part of the song. The Singer has a David Alan Coe sound.

Constructive Comments: Not bad, I would like to hear a more professional mix to bring the instruments together with the vocals. I think the song could use a stronger bridge, something to really stay with the listener.

Positive Comments: Great overall package of a song. Instruments sound good and mixed well together. The vocals lack some passion. There were times that the pitch was off. I feel like the vocals are holding back too much for this style of music. Lyrics are a bit elementary.

Constructive Comments: Great mainstream rock tune. Sounds a bit dated, but nothing bad. I would love to hear more fire from the vocals. Well done dudes.

Positive Comments: The drum machine kills the vibe on this song. If you are going to use drum machines, try to make them sound as authentic as possible. The guitar riff is boring and gets old very fast. I would have liked to hear it go somewhere. The listener doesn’t feel the need to care about the riff and nothing grabs the listener’s attention to make them want to take a journey with the artist. This is not a song, but more of a demo of a riff to maybe be used in a song in the future. I think this might be the wrong place to advertise demo riffs.

Constructive Comments: I think the drum machine is too loud in the mix. Really takes away from me listening to the guitar. This is not a song. It is a great start to writing a song. I would suggest really taking your time to develop ideas that you want to express musically. After that, you can create tension, drama, mood, and excitement in your arrangements. Keep working at your craft, I would say that this idea is in its infant stages, and really needs time to grow before sharing on a forum like this.
