Positive Comments: Really good stuff, I’m not a country afficionado but I know good when I hear it. The vocals and instrumentation were very good, nice mix, maybe the drums could have had a little more fills going on to kick it up. Great job

Constructive Comments: Not too much to improve on this, its very good as it is.

Constructive Comments: I dont think this belongs in the Chicago Blues category, I’m not sure where it should go.

Positive Comments: yes! i immediately like it. strings and piano work well for intro. there are some serious gospel movements in the chords…works well for the genre me thinks. very grandiose. Someone has been listening to Dream Theater 🙂 (i also obsess over them) i love the feel change with the trumpets very cool. i would welcome the chance to collaborate with you. we have some very talented musicians at our disposal and a fully functioning professional recording studio. hit us up!

Constructive Comments: i am a sucker for this genre so i have no writing comments. i will say what i say to everyone that knows what they are doing: take chances, there are no rules in music only guidelines. that said: its obvious you are a very talented musician and need no guidance from me lol.

Positive Comments: cool panning right off the bat. i like the lo fi intro. beefy guitar tone. i like the sorta dire straits feel of the synth. theres alot of space for really any kind of singer. I am a guitar nerd and that solo was right on the mark!!!! well done. when playing power chord driven stuff keep in mind that the guitar low end and bass high end will overlap alot of frequencies. food for thought. overall i like your style. well done!

Constructive Comments: guitar needs a bit of compression and eq. theres alot of info going on in its tone and i think it could be honed a bit more. youre really on to something here. theres alot of cool stuff going on here. i think the more layered something is the more separation youll need. just something to chew on.

Positive Comments: cool movement of the shuffle. i could see this selling to a video game or movie soundtrack. thats a great problem to have! theres an open range/wild west feel about the key that works well with the canter (pun intended) of the shuffle. well done keep it up.

Constructive Comments: heavy verb makes is sound huge 🙂 i would like to hear some live instrumentation recordings in place of some of the synth stuff but it doesnt take away from the tune. the only thing i would suggest is to get many ears on a mix. the easiest thing to do behind the board is to saturate your ears and miss something small. overall its well done!

Positive Comments: great recording. big, broad, well done. great vox harms. well mixed in violins…they can get abrasive if done poorly. well written movements. well recorded acoustic guitar (that can be tough). has a neat feel that makes me happy. i like the female vox in the harms. this is great!

Constructive Comments: i dont have much to suggest. when it is obvious that someone knows what they are doing i always say this: there are no rules in music only guidelines. take chances. be risky. you can always delete 🙂 youre really on to something here. keep at it. cheers.

Positive Comments: cool gallop to it. nice vocal timbre. good movement i can hear the gospel influence. i like the chord choices. cool lyrics. i reeeaaallly like the incorporation of the samples to mimic the lyrics…the lion roar is cool. well done in general good writing. cheers

Constructive Comments: very digital sounding instrumentation. this would do well with some organically recorded instruments. other than that its great. well written. a good rule of thumb is that bass breadth will widen a songs feel no matter what other instruments are there.

Positive Comments: holy awesome flute action! crazy vibrato control. noice. i like the arpeggio guitar part. great recordings. i cant tell how much of this is done on a synth (thats a good thing) good melody. if this doesnt sell to some tv show/movie i will be surprised. this is very well done. it has a psuedo “western” feel to it. sorta alone on the range thing going on. very cool. well done. i could see you selling the crap out of this on BJ!

Constructive Comments: everything you are doing is great. keep at it. i would love the chance to collab on something in the future. we have pro studio at our disposal and “internet collabs” are the wave of the future. hit us up. we are now your fans! 🙂

Positive Comments: solid beat. tasty slap bass. good vox capture. i like the synth also. it has a nice bounce. good breakdown. you have a great voice. go big. i always tell people to take chances musically. there are no rules only guidelines. its your world: do whatever you want. youre on to something here so go with it. i could see this selling somewhere on BJ. Cheers!

Constructive Comments: id like the 3d view of the instruments to give a bit more separation. mixing is a preference so i wouldnt put too much stock in what i think lol. its always good to put things to the “car test” before going to mastering also. needs some vox harmonies also. overall i enjoy it 🙂
