Positive Comments: An absolutely stunning song, being a pianist, I love the keywork in this but the whole song put together works perfect for me. Perfect Voice choices, and adding more exactly where it’s needed. I’ll be listening to more for sure. If this doesn’t get picked for anything, even as a free standing single, I’d be shocked!

Positive Comments: As I was listening to your beautiful guitar riffs, I couldn’t help thinking of the old Bread song “If a picture could paint a thousand words than how can I paint you’. Same vibe. Really nicely done.

Constructive Comments: You changed from a guitar to keyboard @ 50 seconds. It took me a second listen to realize that. I think you should have stuck with the guitar throughout and used the piano and other stringed instruments as backup harmony. The best way to explain it is the change in the lead instrument from guitar to keyboard changed the mood / ambiance of the score if that makes sense.

Positive Comments: Love the bells in the intro. Outstanding lyrics…very, very christmassy. I really like the vocal performance, which is warm and engaging. Strong melody and chord structure. An engaging song for children.

Constructive Comments: My initially thought was that the instrumentation was too thin. I was expecting more instruments to join the song form a wall of sound in the style of Phil Spector. However after listening to the song a few times I liked the sparse production which gave the track a wintery, snowy, stripped back feel which was effective. Ideal for Christmas/children’s listings in my opinion.

Positive Comments: I like the keys, acoustic guitar and percussion, which mesh together beautifully. The melody has a romantic, tropical feel with maybe tango undertones which give the piece a unique, very original quality. The track is constantly engaging. Great musicianship and very imaginative.

Constructive Comments: As an instrumental for say film/TV, I think some sections work better than others. For example the section from 0.00 to 0.58 would be ideal for a one minute edit. Similarly the clip from 1.56 to 2.20 would work really well. To summarise, were I to submit this tune for commercial use I’d crop the track, utilising those parts which best fit the soundtrack role and dropping those parts which have a more songlike structure.
