Positive Comments: Much to like about this piece. Great instrumentation, arrangement, and vocals. Intelligent lyrics. A very well put-together effort. Puts me to mind of some of the really good rock of the 70’s and 80’s, but with a modern feel.

Positive Comments: Great singing and arrangement. Powerful mood.

Constructive Comments: You’re singing is exceptional in range but doesn’t quite hit at the top end always in this track for me. I don’t think you need to push that hard to bring out the power of it. I’m personally not a fan of vocoder and especially as I don’t think you need it, I’m not super keen on the lyrics either, there’s a theme I’m not quite picking up and it’s a bit too negative. Poor old Mum and Dad and I don’t want to sing along with you about being a loser! I’m being critical because it feels close to being very commercial to me.

Positive Comments: This sounds like an 80s 8 bit shoot em up.Could make it commercially as game music with a bit more variety and phases to it.

Constructive Comments: It’s a bit repetitive, could definitely use some variety.I’m guessing 8 bit samples but I think it would benefit from playing that against some wider sounds too.

Positive Comments: Very polished sound, nice mix. Great vocals and harmonies. Certainly easy listening in a good way.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics sound very personal but I’m going to be honest, I think they are the weakest aspect of the song. For me they are too obvious and I think that’s going to impact commerciality. I think with great lyrics the song could stand out. I guess that’s why Elton John need Bernie Taupin.

Constructive Comments: Despite being an unreconstructed male I’m not sure the lyrics are quite right for the time we’re in. I feel that might impact commerciality if you’re looking for that. I’d like a bit more variety in the arrangement also.
