Broadjam Artist: Delta Burnett Reed
Song: Peat-Fire-Flame

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: The artist digs into the archives for a traditional Celtic folk song, dusts it off, and makes it gleam with hammered dulcimer, flutes, pennywhistle and an old world charm. An engaging vocal brings this folk song to life and the light the hill folk yearn for. Ethereal, magical, romantic. A major victory in a minor key.

Constructive Comments: Nice Job, Delta! Keep em coming! Your old friend, Mrs Kate

Broadjam Artist: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Nice rendition of a cover song I haven’t heard in years. This band has some pretty amazing chops….love the electric guitar. Really together sound. Everything is nicely miked and recorded. I bet this band gets lots of gigs.

Broadjam Artist: Massimo Carola
Song: Tuareg

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: This song transported me to a mystery thriller set in an Asian country. Someone is trying to escape from a bad guy or a bad scenario and the situation is critical. There’s an air of mystery to it and it’s definitely night time with shadows darting behind high buildings. A little spooky with a touch of sinister. Violin/strings add tension to this excellently produced soundtrack.

Constructive Comments: I wish you the best with this. You did an amazing job. I hope you find someone to buy/use/license your creative compositions and productions!

Broadjam Artist: Randal Dunkle
Song: Heart Of Blue (Ritchie/Dunkle)

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: The song construction and melody are simply beautiful in this heartfelt love song. Accompanied by a simple piano and drum track, the message of the song is sweet and poignant.

Constructive Comments: The first thing I would do if I were you is hire someone else to sing/record your song. I’d like to hear it sung by a professional vocalist. I think it would be really pretty! The drum is almost too powerful and overdone. The piano is really pretty though.
