Song: I Don’t Know

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Really touching piece with very soulful and meaningful lyrics. The singer greatly captures the mood we all experience when we’re going through any kind of a change and trying to cope with it, or at least that is what I derive from it. Really nice vocals, and the section starting at the 1:50 mark is quite good and different, and the ensuing bridge is also very effective and unique. Really nice and touching song.

Constructive Comments: Great work!

Song: Some Days Our Love

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very nice and smooth sound from start to finish, keeping on an even plain and yet varying things up enough to keep it from becoming monotonous. Nice intro and ideal instrumentation throughout for this type of song. The kind of song that would make a woman swoon.

Constructive Comments: Very cool, laid-back piece.

Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: I’m The Ice Cream Man

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very cool and amusing piece. Really good vocal performance. Very different sound, like a really good mix of rock and honky-tonk. Cool instrumentation throughout.

Constructive Comments: Nice fun tune.

Song: Crazy

Reviewer: David James

Positive Comments: I like the stripped back production which contrasts superbly with the complexity of the vocal arrangement. Great lead vocal. The backing vocals add a clever theatrical twist. Strong lyrics. There is a soulful quality to the song which puts me in mind of Amy Winehouse.

Constructive Comments: The intro with the drum build is bit unusual, and whilst I like it, a music supervisor might find it a slightly unorthodox. For that reason alone I’ve marked down the arrangement. In conclusion though this is a very strong song and recording. Good luck.

Broadjam Artist: Jeff Roberts
Song: I Will Be Redeemed

Reviewer: David James

Positive Comments: A lovely song with a strong melody. The instrumentation is excellent and very precise. Great guitar work. Good vocal delivery. Very nicely recorded. The balance between guitar and voice is spot-on. The sound quality is top-notch…beautifully mastered.

Constructive Comments: I would have liked the acoustic guitar solo at 1.22 to have been slightly longer it sounds beautiful but it’s too short. I wanted to hear more. I might have added an extra guitar part when the third verse kicks in at 1.40 just to add a new element and build the song. That said, a very strong piece of work.
