Positive Comments: I loved the soft guitar licks in the intro of the song. You have a very pretty voice and you sang the song with lots of emotion. I could see this working in a relgious film or for an artist in the CCM. I don’t know if I would classify this as Country, it is more a Contemporary Christian song.I love songs that praise God, I enjoyed listening to it.

Constructive Comments: There were parts of the song that i felt needed a little more lyrics. it seems like you repeated the chorus alot, which praise music does.Also there were parts of the song where I could not understand your words, so make sure your words are clear when singing. You have a great voice.

Positive Comments: Great sound, right from the outset! Very full, very load, very energetic with a great interplay between guitar and vocal, which is clear in the mix. I was moving along to this within 30 seconds. Great structure, logical and helps your listener follow the track.

Constructive Comments: Nothing bad to add. You clearly understand this genre and write and play in it well.

Positive Comments: Love how this song is introduced. It sounds very “live” with lots of interesting parts. Nice to review something different on here. You’ve got all those lovely blues chords and arrangements in here perfectly, and a few pleasant harmonic surprises here and there to keep your listeners on their toes.

Constructive Comments: The piano part came across as a little heavy – it could have survived being played an octave higher I think. At times the vocals were lost in the mix which is a shame as they’re the best part of a blues track!

Positive Comments: This was not what I was expecting when I saw the category was Jazz- General – but I like be surprised! This seems like a military march, something you might hear in a war film or such like. I can hear that you’ve done well with sampled sounds, and the whole thing hangs together well. Perhaps think of putting this in a different category? Loved the changes in tempo

Constructive Comments: Some of the middle chords were a bit too low – your melody could have been supported by some harmonic surprises, as it’s repeated so often, and with chords that are thicker, but in an upper register – it got a bit muddy in the mix at times.

Positive Comments: Good stuff this, has a good vibe to it, lively and with a simple message. It’s well put together with clear sections and a clear location for the hooks. The musicianship is tight and the parts are well played and clearly heard within the mix. The vocal pitch was good.

Constructive Comments: Not much to add. Perhaps the EQ on the lead vocal was a bit tight, which left it a bit “thin” sounding at times.

Positive Comments: Some good tight playing here, with a nice link between the drums, bass and guitar. The sound is quite clean for a hard rock song, but it’s nice as it brings out the tightness of the band playing, rather than being an over-distorted mess. I love the range of ideas in there – it never gets boring. I can see this being used in a soundtrack.

Constructive Comments: There were some distant vocals at the beginning that I couldn’t make out, which was a shame as it would have given more energy with the drums at the beginning.

Positive Comments: This has a stylish lounge sound, and good production qualities. The song has a solid structure and story that is easy for the listen to follow. The hook is in the right place and sticks in the mind as a good hook should. This song is in the right category.

Constructive Comments: I’d like to hear this sung by a female vocalist – somehow before the singer came in I was expecting a female singer. It would be lovely to hear it with a live saxophone too to really bring it alive. Good work.
