Song: Nothing
Reviewer: Ante Novaselic
Positive Comments: I wasn’t sure if the song was a tongue in cheek poke at love or if this was coming from someone who just had a sarcastic view on a relationship he was in or break up and now feels totally indifferent about the L word. I liked the Lou Reed-ish approach to the phrasing along with a simple guitar chiming away. I liked it!
Constructive Comments: cool here!!

Broadjam Artist: Margie & Art Corey
Song: Phone Phobia NEW SAX
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: Jazzy Blues in the Dan Hicks / Mose Allison vein with a laid back witty approach. I think this is Margie & Art. Those minor accents at 1:00 are really cool as is the urgent bass line. Great sax work throughout. Nice work guys!!
Constructive Comments: On my speakers the mix could maybe use a bit more umph? But maybe not.

Positive Comments: This is Blues Rock (Rural Blues: Lightnin Hopkins). Nice lazy groove and tight playing all around. I really like the bridge that starts at 1:30–it’s almost a hint of Beatles. Put some lyrics on this thang!
Constructive Comments: The solos could be more lyrical

Song: Crystal Clear
Reviewer: Jeff Roberts
Positive Comments: This is one of *those* songs that men put on strategically, knowing the effect it will have… It’s like Minnie Ripperton and the Stylistics joined in on this one. Or Peaches & Herb, Roberta & Donnie or Ashford & Simpson. Super romantic with a gentle touch & sophisticated arrangement.
Constructive Comments: I think as the song develops you might want to add light touch bass & drums to give it more impact. I think you need to make the verse lyrics more specific and concrete so there’s more of a story here. It’s mostly all chorus now.

Song: Hex
Reviewer: Love Like Suicide
Positive Comments: The song began in the tone of Love and Rockets “So Alive”.The background music is haunting and atmospheric setting the stage of a Halloween anthem. The singer demonstrates that sexy, soft yet raspy tone that the Divinyls is most well known for. In the middle break with her spoken word, she sounds a lot more powerful. This medium tempo track picks up in the chorus and proves to be more metal with the double kick drum.the guitar line is simplistic enough to appeal to the commercial listener and has a good distortion tone that musicians will appreciate.the tom work is impressive.
Constructive Comments: The recording quality isn’t that great, however, it takes a good band to shine through a bad mix. Some sounds just need to be mixed properly and polished in order to make this a radio-ready track. It fits into an obscure in-between genre of Metal. There is an older metal feel to it that spans everything from power metal to speed metal to gothic metal.

Song: Climb
Reviewer: Shaw and Zahara
Positive Comments: I am a fan of using music to deliver messages of hope and change and like it when an artist follows their convictions like this. I do not listen to much rock that is this heavy, and was surprised to hear such a positive message in the lyric. I think that the lyrics for this song have a lot to offer and are well thought out, and within the space of the song they effectively convey the message they were created to deliver.
Constructive Comments: I do not listen to a lot of this genre, so these comments should be taken with a grain of salt. I really liked the lyric, but found that the heaviness of the melody did not reinforce the lyric. It was as if the writer was frustrated in delivering their message, and really wanting to pound it into our heads, which may be the case, but it reduced the impact of the message for me. The other thing I would consider changing is that around 1 minute and 38 seconds into the song there is a short guitar break that starts off sounding like a phone ringing, which really took me out of the song as I took my headphones off and listened to see if I was missing a call. It transferred into some other decent guitar work, which I would keep, but I’d dump the phone ringing. Coming out of this short musical break it sounds like their is an interesting bridge, however the lyric in the first part is hard to understand, so, I wasn’t quite sure what the message of the bridge was, which is too bad, because the lyrics in this song are really interesting and worth hearing.

Song: Coming Home To You / Rock & Roll
Reviewer: MGB
Positive Comments: Good sound here. Nice arrangement. Great riff. Love the ending. Guitar kicks ass. Good job here. Best of luck.
Constructive Comments: Can’t see this being a success as a stand-alone song, cause it doesn’t deviate enough from the basic tune, but may work well for background or commercial opportunities.
