Positive Comments: Can’t get any more soulful than this. Very deep, and I wouldn’t change a thing instrumentally, because acoustics work best with this song. Great changes throughout and very soulful vocals.

Constructive Comments: Great job here. This song could be very useful in a movie or in TV. I can hear it playing in the background in any number of shows.

Constructive Comments: Only thing I might add here would be an explosion at the very end, such as a bomb dropping, ’cause it kinda sounds exactly what this is leading to.

Positive Comments: Steely Dan meets Jerry Reed!! Also a bit like a guitarist called Johnny A who has some hot instrumental work. I like the snappy Country Boy Funk intro. Great guitar tone and the bass too both are playing some really hip riffs. And the drums are pretty dang good too. Lots of cool arrangement ideas here and major league chops. Very cool!!!

Constructive Comments: This isn’t enough by itself yet but there is some very cool stuff going on here. I’d really like to hear you develop this.

Song: As Daylight Breaks

Positive Comments: This reminds me of Bread/David Gates and Kenny Loggins (Watching the River Run). Not a current sound but a very good one. Nice vocal performance and chord choices. There’s a very personal touch in this, and there are bound to still be plenty of fans for a mellow romantic sound like this!

Constructive Comments: A lot of 500hz? boominess here. That needs to be tamed so it can be heard more easily. The “horn” solo is too cheezy with a key patch. I’d clean up that bass tone and take the chorus off.
