Positive Comments: This has a nice rhythmic feel and the instrumentation works well.

Constructive Comments: I feel the vocal would work better if it had more of a singing quality to it – maybe with some harmonies. The guitar solo didn’t seem to match the feel of the tune.

Positive Comments: A very unique sound. Interesting. It is unique especially for a guitar instrumental. It sort of reminds me of Alabama Shakes earlier sound (sound of recording). Sounds like you have the beginnings of something cool.

Constructive Comments: The actual tonal quality of the mix is something that you can build on. I feel the drums are throwing off the guitar playing. There is a cool arrangement here but the transitions between parts is not smooth. IMO a new drum pattern arrangement will help greatly. Then some bass guitar and you’ll be golden.

Positive Comments: This is way too Continental to be Country, well you know other countries, like where them French people live. And I dig its Rive Gauche vibe. I’m going to fire up a Gauloise and drink my wine and enjoy the mood. I’m pretty sure this is Penny. I’m loving the mood with great accordion and piano and the wistful vocals. This is cool as all get out, and it’s so nice to hear something so sophisticated and classic!!!!

Constructive Comments: Maybe dig into the rhythmic accents a tad, c’est dire un soupcon, more and put a clothespin on your earlobe so it has some Edith Piaf pain & passion added in. This is great as is!!!

Cold & Lonesome Life by Margie & Art Corey

Song: Cold & Lonesome Life

Positive Comments: Classic country shuffle with a a killer dobro mood to set the tune off. It’s Art, I’m pretty sure, sounding like Leon Russell again (go ahead sing “Lady Blue” just once for me). Killer arrangement here. This is great honky tonk music–love that dobro. The story pulls you right in waiting for each new development. George Jones might sing this better but he rode his riding lawnmower into the sky.

Constructive Comments: Not a dang thang son. Good job!!

Constructive Comments: I’d take the chorus off the acoustic guitar and let it be more natural.

Constructive Comments: The bass is way low on my PC, other than that, a break of some kind would help this song. a key change or emodulation towards the end would be good as well!Keep On Truckin! =================catnip====================
