Positive Comments: Very good song. Sounds very Tom Petty-ish, and that’s certainly not a bad thing. Great guitar work and hook makes you want to keep listening. Wish there was more music like this out there these days.

Constructive Comments: Only thing I might change here is the ending. The song has no bridge, which although that’s not necessary, it’s not bad either. The instrumental at the end could serve very well as a bridge, if you break back into the chorus briefly at the end.

Song: You’re Not Dreaming

Positive Comments: Very good sound. Great arrangement and instrumentation. Love both the guitar work and the drum work. Quite original. Could be three different titles that would work here. “My Heart’s Beating For You” is one, but somewhat long and a little trite. I feel either “Shining Light” or “You’re Not Dreaming” would be better choices.

Constructive Comments: Only problem with this song is not in the song, but in music today. It is just much harder to make it today with a good rock song than it was in the 70’s, but we can only hope that people wake up eventually to what good music really is.

Turn It Off, Then Turn Me On by Margie & Art Corey

Song: Turn It Off, Then Turn Me On

Reviewer: Tyler Peters

Positive Comments: Nice synth effects! Fits so well with your vocals and guitar keeping the tempo and mood throughout. This is a very fun song. I really love how well the instruments went together with the different effects.

Constructive Comments: Wasn’t into the lyrics to much. Especially the talking part. I was a bit confused about what the song is supposed to be about. The voice fits perfect though.

Positive Comments: I liked the synth chords playing throughout. There where some pretty cool progressions there in the middle. Synth was my favorite I think. I could see this being on a score for a tv show or movie scene, music gives the feeling your going somewhere.

Constructive Comments: I would of liked the synth to be louder on the mix. And the drums to of been a bit quieter.

There is a lot going on and it all fits together great. The synth at the end was a sweet addition. Pretty cool stuff it be interested in hearing more.

Constructive Comments: I think the effects on the guitar where a bit much. But its really just a matter of taste I enjoyed the listen.

I’d Break All The Rules / Rock & Roll by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Song: I’d Break All The Rules / Rock & Roll

Reviewer: Tyler Peters

Positive Comments: Nice riffs, guitar sounds good. Liked the progressions also, am curious what tuning this is in. Melody goes from dreamy to progressive, this would be a good tune to take a nice late night drive to. Sounds like it could of all been recorded on a loop pedal which is kinda cool.

Constructive Comments: I am not a fan of the drum machine loop. I think you could get away with the drum loop with some better sounding samples but its not to much trouble to write the drums with something like Superior drummer or even the drum machine. Or better yet find yourself a drummer to jam with.
