Positive Comments: This track has the potential to be developed into a well-produced piece of electronic dance music – it has a good hook and nice use of rhythms and instruments.

Constructive Comments: The track needs polishing as the rhythms and melodies seem to be out of sync. It all needs to be tighter.

Constructive Comments: It’s a good song with a catchy hook. But his voice is pitched too high to give it any power to overset the instrumental backing.

Positive Comments: If you could rate more than five stars for originality, I would. That’s what grabs me the most about this song. Very soulful. Sounds like something that would be written at 3AM in a truckstop somewhere after a night of hard drinkin’. Great chord changes here also. Sounds like a pleasant mixture of Pink Floyd and Paul Simon. I could listen to music like this all night long. Hope somebody more important than me agrees with that assessment. Really good and original song!

Constructive Comments: Trying to change anything about this song would be bad karma, so I won’t make any recommendations.

Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Broadjam Artist: Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods
Song: Hide Your Eyes / Pop

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very nice sound. Kind of like Gordon Lightfoot meets Dan Fogelberg. It’s hard to produce a song that is so tame and mellow without also being somewhat trite, buy you have accomplished it here. Very well written song with excellent performances, including backing vocals.

Constructive Comments: Can’t think of a thing I would change here. Great song.

Song: Trying to reach the ground

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very relaxing, chilling, and haunting piece. Wonderful harmonies and background vocals, as well as instrumentation. A very great, memorable riff. Not usually the kind of music I listen to, so I couldn’t tell you who out there today it sounds like, but go back a few decades and it sounds a little like Simon and Garfunkel meets the Moody Blues. Hardest part was trying to guess the title. It could go about a dozen ways. I thought about “Dreams”, because it almost sounds like it could be something in a dream. Really good work.

Constructive Comments: I gave a good rating for marketability, which I rarely do, because it’s so hard to market anything, and whereas I don’t think this sounds like a hit record, it does sound like something that could definitely be extremely useful in a movie or even a commercial. Really good sound.
