Positive Comments: Nice mashup of Jingle Bells. Interesting beginning. When it started I had no idea where it would lead. Also clever was the key change. I don’t know if it works but it is interesting nonetheless.

Constructive Comments: Being a bass player you know what I’m going to say. “Where’s the bass?” I think bass will balance the mix. Right now the melody line is way loud. I listed two times on my studio monitors. Companies start looking for Christmas music early. As early as the Summer. Tweak a few things and you’ll be ready.

Positive Comments: Hey, I clicked on R&B but this sounds like The Police. I hear Andy Summers’s guitar with chorus and delay. You sort nailed it I think. This groove has really good potential. I liked it. The bass performance is cool too. Even that sounds like Sting.

Constructive Comments: I listened on my studio monitors. The first thing I noticed is that the tune is in mono. I think a nicely mixed stereo version will get you closer to marketability especially when you see listings for 80’s vibe music. The groove is there. I would love to hear a more pro mix with separation. A more authentic drum performance will help greatly too. I listened twice.
