It sounds like you were born to be a blues singer. This should go over real well in a movie or TV show. There’s definitely a place for this song somewhere.

I still hear a lot of the Edgar Winter Group in here for some reason, but I love it. Everything meshes together so well, and I love the subtle guitar slides toward the end. Another really good job.

Positive Comments: I love this track, straight up primitive rock and roll, not over played, but not underplayed. Reminds me a little of Commander Cody meets the Stones, in the vein of a lot of late 60’s early 70’s rock/country/blues bands.
Constructive Comments: I could definitely see this in an Indie flick with some guy a bike on a dusty road getting out of town fast. Lot’s of vibe and atmosphere. I don’t really have any criticism, it is what is, rock and roll.

But I found myself wanting more dynamics… as in space and soft parts, offset by building up with drums and background parts, perhaps even loud parts. The very ending you went down to piano only which was a really refreshing change. For me the whole song need to break up out of the same dynamic level.

Constructive Comments: I couldn’t get past the sterility of how this was presented. The fundamental idea seemed like it had some good ideas, but the dynamics and feeling were sorely lacking. If I could recommend anything it would be use a regular piano or a more realistic piano sound, don’t quantize so much, and loosen up when playing it…. try to leave more space, and build with your strings so it has dynamics.
